New York -
Event Cancelled

Fans, supporters, and eager startups,

We’re sorry to announce that the Elevator World Tour won’t be coming to the World Trade Centre. For a second time, the building’s management has reneged on our agreement to hold an event there, citing security concerns and the way with which we accept attendees.

As you may imagine, we’re beyond disappointed. Our mission is to bring together founders and investors in the world’s most iconic towers, and we love New York. That’s why we went to great lengths to ensure that all issues were addressed before announcing the event. Despite this, the building’s management has refused to honour our agreement, forcing us to cancel the event for a second time.

Of course, New York has many great buildings, and we’ll be back soon in another iconic elevator near you.

Not a traditional venture capital fund, our model is to bring together a group of angels and investors who each put in $10,000 for a maximum prize of $100,000.

Dubbed "Silicon Alley", New York City is the center of the East Coast’s startup scene. Among juggernauts like Kickstarter and Foursquare, there are over 1,000 made in NYC Tech Companies. The Big Apple demands you go big or go home, so we're holding the event in what is now the tallest building in the western hemisphere, One World Trade Center. As the elevator blasts to the 100th floor in just under a minute to a towering 1,776 feet, we challenge New Yorkers to deliver the pitch of their lives.
